Teaching Kundalini Yoga in Therapeutic Settings
One for the Heart Workshop with Sat Shakti Kaur
21 March | 9:30am-12pm
online
A collaboration with the Guru Ram Das Project, this is a practical workshop for Kundalini Yoga teachers who are considering working with populations that require a more sensitive, adaptive approach to practice. This workshop explores how teachers can create a safe and inclusive space in which students are supported to practice Kundalini Yoga to their own ability. Through discussion alongside Kundalini Yoga and meditation, the workshop introduces a more therapeutic teaching orientation while remaining rooted in the tradition. This workshop is intended for Kundalini Yoga teachers.
Sat Nam Rasayan Training with Jiwan Mukta
28-29 March | 1-7pm
Hammersmith
Sat Nam Rasayan® is an ancient healing art from Kundalini Yoga that works in the meditative space. The study of Sat Nam Rasayan® includes the cultivation of shuniya through the practice of Kundalini Yoga and Meditation. As well, student practitioners have practical experiences of healing, working on fellow students and patients under the direction of a teacher who helps to hold open the healing space. Through the practice of Sat Nam Rasayan®, students develop the meditative mind, increase sensitivity, achieve greater clarity in their lives, release unhealthy habits, heal themselves, and heal others.
There are no prerequisites to study Sat Nam Rasayan and prior training in Kundalini Yoga is not required.
