Sat Shakti — founder of JOY

Sat Shakti has been building JOY since 2016 — starting with events, growing into a full studio, and navigating a pandemic along the way. At its height, 54 weekly classes, workshops every weekend, teacher training, specialist events. Nothing quite like it had existed in the UK before. JOY has since moved online: smaller, more intimate, led directly by Sat Shakti. The mission remains the same — to give people the tools to feel empowered, at ease, and genuinely joyful
