Anna Amrit Jiwan Kaur feels blessed to be able to hold the space for all to dive deep into themselves, experience the bliss and connect with the wisdom within. She loves to play the gong, feeling the vibrations as they still the mind and move right down into the bones. She is inspired to coach and support people on their journey to wholeness, authenticity and freedom.
Her teaching style is friendly, fun, gently challenging and deeply meditative. Her aim that you leave class feeling happy and uplifted.

Andrea Lavers is a KRI Level 1 Kundalini Yoga Instructor and a Khalsa Way Prenatal Teacher. Her own journey with Kundalini Yoga started in 2007. This sacred technology transformed her life and revolutionised her own recovery journey.
Andrea holds a MSc in Addiction Psychology and Counselling where she wrote her dissertation on the effects Kundalini Yoga has on addiction recovery. With over 10 years clinical experience as a counsellor and therapist specialising in Addiction and Trauma, Andrea is passionate about people achieving freedom from self and addictive behaviors.
She has had the privilege of teaching Kundalini Yoga in psychiatric settings as well as detox centres, and has a compassionate, empathetic and yet 'fun' approach to elevating others through Kundalini Yoga.

Angad Kaur is a KRI Professional Trainer, teaching internationally and running Level 1 Aquarian Teacher courses in London and the Midlands. She spent a number of years travelling extensively with her spiritual teacher, Shiv Charan Singh, studying to become a Karam Kriya Consultant and Trainer – working with the universal intelligence of numbers and the power of the word to create healing conversations and support meaningful life transitions.
Since 2008, she has worked with the Guru Ram Das Project bringing Kundalini Yoga to individuals and communities most in need, alongside working as a Sikh Chaplain. Angad regularly runs retreats and workshops exploring life themes through the guidance of numbers and the teachings in Gurbani, alongside offering one-to-one Yoga Therapy. She was involved with Karam Kriya Women’s Camp for many years and regularly organizes events for International Women’s Day.
After 25 years working in the art world as a curator, producer and lecturer, she continues to mentor artists and run creative writing workshops. Angad has an inclusive approach and a natural enjoyment of being in the company of people from all walks of life.
Amy Bisazza has witnessed in herself and others how the power of mantra and sound can carry us back into a state of surrender and grace, allowing our lives to unfold organically and our souls to guide us. Amy's passion for sound healing and mantra meditation was ignited when she first discovered Kundalini Yoga in 2000. She learnt to play the guitar by creating melodies for mantras and has recently released her first mantra album. She is also a BWY Hatha teacher, KRI Kundalini teacher and Gong teacher and teaches regularly in London.
Ashley Jones is a compassionate and intuitive teacher with over 10 yrs experience to share. Her sessions are dynamic, friendly, fun and delivered with a down to earth approach. Ashley is also a life coach and thrives on creating the space for expansion and growth both on and off the mat. Colin Raizon grew up in Rhodesia, now Zimbabwe. He spent much of his time under the African sun in physical activities - running, playing rugby, hockey, squash, tennis. And so he continued after arriving in the UK in 1975, adding marathon running to his repertoire. The inevitable stress on his back led to occasional visits to an osteopath who, in 2001, recommended that Colin add a further activity as a counterbalance – yoga.
Colin’s interest in yoga developed steadily and he returned from a yoga retreat in Marrakech in 2007 keen to enhance his practice. In 2008 he undertook a Kundalini Yoga teacher training course with the Karam Kriya school in London. One thing led to another and Colin now teaches Kundalini Yoga in London.
Colin is a very busy financial adviser in London, giving him first-hand experience of the need for a practical tool to enable us to counteract stress and to remain focused and calm in the midst of the challenges we face in these changing times.
Dayal Amrit Kaur (Katia) has 15 years experience practising yoga. She discovered Kundalini Yoga four years ago, when she landed at the European Yoga Festival, while vending for the yoga clothing company she works for. She fell in love with it. Dayal Amrit completed her level 1 training with Gurmukh, and has further training in addiction recovery and the gong. It is a blessing and a gift for her to pass on the transformative power of this technology.
Esté Grobler completed her KRI Level 1 Instructor Certification in Kundalini Yoga in South Africa where she is originally from. She trained with Pritam Hari Kaur and Har Bhajan Singh Khalsa from 2005. Since moving to the UK, she has continued her level 2 training with Shiv Charan Singh's the Karam Kriya school. Gianjot Singh felt the need to turn the gaze to his essence about 10 years ago after having achieved great entrepreneurial and economic success. He discovered a world of listening and sensibility, feeling for the first time how it is to be a complete human being: endowed with body, mind and spirit.
He searched for a practice to keep this relationship alive. It was at the first lesson of Kundalini yoga that he felt he was in the right place. The sense of completeness that he needed returned again. Since then he continued to practice assiduously and in 2014, attending a course between Milan and Verona, he obtained the qualification as a recognized IKYTA teacher (International Kundalini Yoga Teachers Association).
Hari Karam Singh has been a dedicated yogi since 2003 and a KRI certified teacher of Kundalini Yoga since 2007. He is also a musician, leading technology consultant, and holds a degree in physics. Hamir Kaur has over 25 years of sport and yoga teaching experience, her philosophy is a holistic approach to health and wellbeing that emphasises the interconnection of body, mind, spirit with nature.
Her therapeutic yoga and gong sound healing classes allows students the space to identify with their true nature and to recognise that a commitment to change can bring us back into strength, balance and unity.
Her charity work for GRDP as a community outreach teacher and fundraiser has successfully brought the spirit of Kundalini yoga into the heart of South London.

Jag Kaley experienced a Kundalini awakening in 2003, which changed his life journey forever. Leaving the life he knew behind to follow the call of his soul. Travelling to North America he discovered Kundalini yoga and completed his Kundalini teacher training in the summer of 2006.
Jag is the owner and founder of the London Kundalini Centre, a Kundalini emergency and spiritual crisis Centre offering guidance and support for people experiencing Kundalini awakenings.
He is the creator of the Star Wars Jedi Kundalini warrior-training program helping people connect to the power of the Force within them so they may fulfill their potentials and to help humanity bring in the Age of Aquarius.
He is serving as Director for the Great British Kundalini Yoga Festival and Publicity officer for the Kundalini Yoga Teachers Association UK.

Kathy Haridev Kaur Latham is a KRI-Certified Kundalini Yoga Teacher, Yoga Therapist (C-IAYT) and Sat Nam Rasayan Practitioner.
She is originally from New York City, where she taught at Golden Bridge Yoga. Her teaching style is joyful, warm and subtle.
She is grateful to her teachers, including Guru Dharam Singh and Guru Dev Singh, living master of the healing art Sat Nam Rasayan.
Haridev trained to teach Kundalini Yoga in India with Gurmukh, with whom she also studied Khalsa Way Prenatal Yoga. She is a graduate of I-SKY's Kundalini Yoga Therapy program.
Haridev is also certified in Relax and Renew Restorative Yoga, YOGA for Youth, and is qualified as a doula and aromatherapist.
Kary Preetam Kaur co-founded the Kundalini Yoga Collective in 2012, a platform for events and classes. Peruvian by birth, she launched the Kundalini Yoga -based Nadi Gathering event in 2016, which takes place in the Sacred Valley every September. Preetam is on the KYTA committee and the Great British Kundalini Yoga Festival committee. She is also a multimedia journalist covering culture, social change, music and spirituality.
Kiranjot is a down to earth, pragmatic Kundalini Yoga teacher, into straight talking spirituality. Friendly and funny she teaches the ancient, sacred system of Kundalini yoga in an accessible way, always leaving you with yogic tools to help you manage everyday life outside of the yoga class.
She started her teacher training in 2004 and has since taught Kundalini Yoga to thousands of people, for over a decade. The beauty of Kundalini Yoga is that the practice is very easily adaptable and Kiranjot has a particular talent for holding inclusive spaces so every-body can enjoy Kundalini Yoga.

Lakshmi Nirmal Kaur became passionate about yoga many moons ago and became an Ashtanga Vinyasa Flow teacher before falling in love with Kundalini Yoga. Kundalini Yoga transformed her life and helped her heal at many levels.
Lakshmi completed her KRI Level 1 certification program with Gurmukh in Rishikesh, India and has been teaching ever since. She loves the invigorating energy that kriyas produce and the curing properties of mantras, mudras and breath.
She has studied Naturopathy, Ayurveda, nutrition, medicinal plants, essential oils, detoxing, cleansing and fasting. Her key interests lie in helping people heal holistically; looking at the root cause with a focus on gut health, inflammation, cravings and the link between food and mood. Her goal is to get people to live their best life.
She is currently studying at the Institute of Integrative Nutrition to become a Health and Lifestyle Coach.
Laura Atmadev Kidd is originally from Canada. She is new to London and eager to share the teachings of Kundalini Yoga at JOY. She completed her KRI Level 1 Certification in 2016 and has been teaching since. In addition to a weekly class and sadhana, she has experience teaching Kundalini Yoga to high school and university students.
She also works in public relations and regularly writes posts for her blog, The Fashion Kidd.
Laura Burns has practiced yoga for over ten years, and connected immediately to the power and directness of Kundalini Yoga, through many wonderful teachers both in the UK and New York. She trained with Gurmukh, an inspiring woman and teacher who is an example of the joy and playfulness that comes with a strong body, heart and mind cultivated in Kundalini Yoga.
She is also a dancer and artist, and brings her experience of somatic, embodied knowledge and creativity into the class. She encourages students to tune to an inner space where they can find compassion for themselves, and belief in shifting the blocks or challenges in their lives. She is learning a lot from teaching, and hopes to always be. Classes work with a combination of different asanas and meditations each time, so will always vary. They will be challenging, vigorous, deep, meditative and renewing.
Malcolm Mahan Deva Medley has been doing Yoga for a very long time, but it wasn’t until he met Kundalini Yoga in 2001 that he fell in love. It was instant. He managed to keep it at arms-length until 2009 when he did his training, then things really took off and he started teaching, and also playing the Gong (his other love…).
Since then his experience has been very varied, teaching regular classes in Yoga Studios and Gyms, and occasional 1-to-1s in people’s homes, kids in the Park, elderly people with Chair Yoga, recovering addicts, mental health patients, partially-sighted people. He is passionate about sharing the teachings because of the benefits that he has received, and seen happening to other people.
Matt Watts discovered kundalini yoga in 2010. “I had tried other forms of yoga before, but was struck by the enormous sense of happiness and wellbeing I felt after just one Kundalini class. After that, I was hooked!”
He began teacher training in 2012 with Shiv Charan Singh’s Karam Kriya school, and has led weekly classes in fitness centres, yoga studios and privately ever since.
Out of the yoga studio, Matt is a professional singer and musician, and can regularly be found on stage performing at festivals, retreats and mantra sessions in the UK and abroad, with the likes of Siri Sadhana Kaur and others. Music and mantra therefore feature heavily in Matt’s classes!
His gentle manner, dedication, enthusiasm and lightness of touch have ensured a steady stream of satisfied students, which he looks forward to nurturing at Joy Dalston.
Mehtab Benton is originator of Gong Yoga™ and author of Gong Yoga: Healing and Enlightenment through Sound, published in six international editions and translations. His book Teaching Gong Yoga is the first book on using yoga practices with the gong, and his DVD course How To Play the Gong is a best-selling video for beginning and intermediate players. His latest book, Gong Therapy, has been used in courses around the world by yoga teachers, sound healers, and therapists.
A practitioner and teacher of Kundalini Yoga for over 40 years who studied with the Yogi Bhajan, the master of Kundalini Yoga. Mehtab has trained hundreds of teachers as a Lead Kundalini Yoga Teacher Trainer throughout the United States. He is a certified Vedic Astrologer, a mentor in the American College of Vedic Astrology, and author of Astrology Yoga, the first comprehensive book on using the science of Jyotish in the practice and teaching of yoga. Mehtab has an educational background in psychology and yoga therapy and is the author of 15 books. A long-time resident of Austin, Texas “The Music Capitol of the World,” Mehtab has lectured on the Gong in the University of Texas Master Teacher series and has taught Yoga of Sound classes since 1998.
Natalie Sarab Jeewan Dorchester is a Kundalini Yoga teacher, workshop facilitator and birth doula, with over 15 years of experience supporting women through childbirth. She studied with renowned birth educator Dr. Michel Odent, and has worked with him ever since. A mother of two, giving birth was the most empowering and spiritual experience for her. It is her passion to empower other women through childbirth. Natalie also teaches Classic Kundalini and Addiction Recovery classes at JOY.
Nasser Abadian has a lifelong interest in Persian literature and the teachings of Rumi. He was sent to India to study by his parents at the age 20. He has studied Engineering and Law and worked in business and property. Nasser came to the UK after travelling around India and the Far-East. He settled in this country, brought up his children here, and calls London his home.
Nasser completed Kundalini Yoga Teacher Training in Espanola, New Mexico in September 2011. He's especially interested in Yogi Bhajan’s teaching on the polarity of male and female and has studied Yogi Bhajan's Man to Man teachings extensively.
Paula Hollings completed her Kundalini Yoga teacher training with iSKY in 2009. Her journey with Kundalini Yoga began though in 2003 when she took her first class with Guru Dharam Singh Khalsa. Prior to starting her teacher training, she completed Kundalini Yoga Therapy training also with Guru Dharam.
Paula’s experiences as a Kundalini Yoga Teacher and Therapist are informed by her understanding of the Alexander Technique, which she has been teaching since 1988. Through this work, she helps people with a wide range of conditions, such as RSI, scoliosis, back pain, as well as performers and those who are keen to develop more ease and efficiency in movement.
Rounding out her healing credentials, in 2017 Paula qualified as a practitioner of classical acupuncture. She brings to all of her work the qualities of patience, humor and contemplative stillness which much travel and 30 years of meditation have given her.
Prakashjot Kaur is a Kundalini Yoga and Meditation Teacher with a strong foundation of ACIM since 2012. Prior to that she practiced Ashtanga since the age of 15. Her purpose is teaching Yoga and Meditation, Sound Healing with Tibetan Bowls and Gongs, as well as TwoPoint and Reiki.
Apart from having wonderful family and friends, she was blessed with guidance on her journey from David Hoffmaister and Har Nal Kaur to Leszek Angulski (and respectfully many others, but the list is long).

Rad Kaim/ Anand Sangat is a KRI-certified Teacher of Kundalini Yoga. Fascinated with the technology of Kundalini Yoga, he immediately dove deep into the practice currently continuing his level 2 education. His name Anand Sangat is the invitation to express his gift of fearlessly embodying celestial happiness on earth when he dwells within the company of others/community. Rad has also been teaching Hatha Yoga for the last 8 years. His style of teaching comes from an array of influences, teachings and traditions as he had the pleasure of training in many different styles, including Ashtanga, Iyengar, Anusara and Vinyasa. He is interested in energy healing, meditation and life coaching. Rad is also a certified massage therapist and Reiki practitioner. His prime interest is to inspire and empower students on their personal life journeys and to enable them to recognise their own definition of happiness, integrity and power.
Ram Simran Singh hails from Toronto, Canada; the first city in North America where Yogi Bhajan introduced and established the practice of Kundalini Yoga. As a result, Ram had the good fortune as a child to be mesmerized by the spiritual teachings of a Western man in a white turban on television. Being spiritual by nature and finding the divine in every religion from a young age, Ram has 3 years of Kabbalistic training and Level 1 Reiki training, combined with Level 1 Kundalini Yoga teaching certification.
Living in London for the last 15 years as a self-employed hair stylist in Soho, Ram Simran interacts daily with a variety of clients. This one-on-one interaction has taught Ram that “all humans want the same things in life, we just need a little help achieving them”. Practising Kundalini Yoga since 2014, and teaching one-on-one classes for the last six months, Ram Simran welcomes you to join him in fulfilling your spiritual journey and achieving your goals through enlightenment.
Sat Shakti Kaur is the founder of JOY. She is a KRI certified Kundalini Yoga teacher, experienced in teaching general yoga classes for beginner to advanced students, specialty classes for women, students aged 60+, and students with health conditions. She completed Level 1 and Level 2 training at Kundalini Yoga East with Sat Jivan Kaur and Sat Jivan Singh Khalsa in New York and is a member of the Aquarian Trainer Academy. With Shanti Shanti Kaur Khalsa, she completed Foundations: Principles and Practices of Kundalini Yoga Therapy. She is a student and practitioner of Sat Nam Rasayan.
A former ballet dancer, Sat Shakti has a background in business and the arts. Integrating Kundalini into her life, enabled her to keep up with multiple work and volunteer commitments. As Kundalini Yoga offers practical tools for practitioners to lead balanced, happy lives, Sat Shakti is eager to share this powerful technology with busy Londoners.
Simran Kaur is a lifelong singer and yogi, being one of the first babies born into the 3HO community. She grew up in an ashram in Brooklyn, New York (USA) and was surrounded by Kirtan from her earliest days. She went to school in Mussoorie, India where she studied voice and harmonium. She also studied Gatka and Gurbani.
Simran and her husband GuruPrem have recorded many mantras and songs together, including: Tantric Har (her most widely known recording), Tantric Mool Mantra, Tantric Sa Ta Na Ma. Their recent albums include: The Heart Rules, Heal Me ( with Siri Simrity mantra for restoring dignity, divinity and grace to the feminine), Suite: Kirtan Sohila which they also recorded in Spanish with the title Dulces Suenos, and Love Life! Simran loves to share how to sing with people and help everyone listen to and create their unique voice and sound.
Simran has taught Yoga for over 20 years and studied and taught extensively with her husband GuruPrem (designated by Yogi Bhajan as the Posture Master). She is a KRI-certified teacher and trainer. She is the lead teacher trainer of Divine Alignment & The Heart Rules around the world.
Siri Jot Kaur comes from a performance and complementary therapy background. Having been introduced to Hatha yoga in her 20's which she practised on and off for many years, it wasn't until years later that she was lucky enough to come across Kundalini Yoga and Meditation, as taught by Yogi Bhajan, and knew that this was the yoga she'd been looking for!
Teacher training followed, studying with living spiritual Master: Shiv Charan Singh and Karam Kriya School.
Siri Jot has been teaching publically and privately since early 2012. She regularly teaches for the online kundalini yoga studio kundalinilounge.com and also teaches for Tri yoga London, and the Guru Ram Das Project.
Sue Whitehead has been practising kundalini yoga since 2012 and studied to be a kundalini teacher at the Yoga Borgo School in Umbria, Italy under master teachers Sada Sat Kaur and Sada Sat Singh. Sue completed her level 1 Teacher Training in August 2017 and is insured to teach in the UK. Sue is keen to see kundalini used as a living yoga to help us in our jobs, relationships and everyday lives. Her style is 'feet-on-the-ground' while opening the heart, mind and spirit to what this unique yoga can do. Sue lives in East London with her husband and two daughters. Sue's spiritual name is Jai Manprem Kaur meaning victory prevails when you experience God's inner divine love in your mind and heart.
Suhab Kaur, PhD, has been studying and practicing Kundalini Yoga and the applied spiritual science of Karam Kriya since 1995, under the guidance of her teacher Shiv Charan Singh. She is a KRI certified Professional Teacher Trainer teaching in London and internationally, and a Karam Kriya trainer and consultant. Suhab is also a musician and interdisciplinary artist, and has participated in exhibitions and collaborative projects in the UK, Europe, Russia and the US.
Yogi Amandeep Singh, MS.c (Aust), MA(UK), B.Sc Hons (UK), is a counsellor by profession and an accomplished yogi, having studied in depth many yogic traditions in India. He is a certified Kundalini Yoga Teacher, a scholar with Kundalini Research Institute of USA, a KRI Professional Teacher Trainer, Healer and a teacher of Eastern Spirituality. He is a leading authority on philosophy and history of ancient yogic traditions. He brings great depth, accuracy, joy and spontaneity to his teaching. Being inspired by Yogi Bhajan, his master, he travels around the world sharing transforming wisdom.
