Marianthi is now passionate about sharing a variety of tools from the kundalini teachings to help others regain strength, find new ways of coping with stress and fatigue, and live a balanced and empowered life.

Ana De Matos
Ana (she/they) was introduced to kundalini yoga in 2019 - the connection with the practice was immediate and she challenged herself to attend 40 classes in 40 days. During those forty days shifts started to happen - the physical and mental challenges of holding postures while maintaining a calm mind were welcomed, and the profound silence that happens during the practice was embraced. They continue to explore the practice deeper as a teacher - every day is a journey of discovery and playfulness.

Amrit Jiwan
Amrit Jiwan is dedicated to sharing this healing practice bringing people into connection with themselves and others through mantra and vibration. She is based in Kingston upon Thames and is also a sound/gong bath leader and Sat Nam Rasayan healer.

Michelle Hanks
Michelle has a passion for yoga and for the profound transformational healing effects it can have for the mind, spirit and body. In 2010, she completed a 266 hour Yoga Teacher Training specifically focusing on yoga asana, shat-karma, anatomy, pranayama, meditation and philosophy.

Charlotte
Charlotte has been practising Kundalini yoga since 2011, since her first class in Leicester. She has taught at yoga studios in Cornwall, New York, and London. As her day job she is a Secondary School teacher. On the side she also enjoys cooking and also attending all women’s Red Tent spaces.

Angad Kaur
Angad Kaur is a KRI Professional Trainer, teaching internationally and running Level 1 Aquarian Teacher courses in London and the Midlands. She spent a number of years traveling extensively with her spiritual teacher, Shiv Charan Singh, studying to become a Karam Kriya Consultant and Trainer – working with the universal intelligence of numbers and the power of the word to create healing conversations and support meaningful life transitions.

Chiara
Joy Yoga occupies a special place in Chiara's heart – it was here that her love of Kundalini Yoga first took root and found a community! She is overjoyed to be teaching here.

Colin Raizon
Colin’s interest in yoga developed steadily when he returned from a yoga retreat in Marrakech in 2007 keen to enhance his practice. In 2008 he undertook a Kundalini Yoga teacher training course with the Karam Kriya school in London. One thing led to another and Colin now teaches Kundalini Yoga in London.

Dayal Amrit Kaur
Dayal Amrit Kaur (Katia) has 15 years experience practising yoga. She discovered Kundalini Yoga four years ago, when she landed at the European Yoga Festival, while vending for the yoga clothing company she works for. She fell in love with it. Dayal Amrit completed her level 1 training with Gurmukh, and has further training in addiction recovery and the gong. It is a blessing and a gift for her to pass on the transformative power of this technology.

Esté Grobler
She has accompanied people on their healing journeys since the late nineties when she started working as a psychologist. She has had a lifelong interest in how people heal and various forms of healing. Kundalini yoga caught her interest when she first encountered it at her local gym in 2004 and it's been part of her personal practice since then. Studying and practicing the meditative healing practice of Sat Nam Rasayan since 2016, and yoga therapy since 2017 has been bridging the gap between her two career paths of being a therapist and a yoga teacher.

Kari
When joining Kari’s kundalini class expect a unique experience! Kari often openly shares the deeper layers of her own sacred kundalini practice. She explains how kundalini yoga sensitises you to the deeper layers of the human experience as it opens your intuition. Her morning classes will gently activate your body and cultivate the life force energy necessary to keep up with the requirements of daily life. In meditation, she guides you to a stillness that will prepare you to face any of life’s challenges with grace.

Haridev
Kathy Haridev Latham is a certified Kundalini Yoga Teacher, Yoga Therapist, Sat Nam Rasayan practitioner and a trainer of teachers and yoga therapists. She is one of the founding teachers at JOY Yoga. Haridev teaches with warmth, clarity and joy, holding a subtle and transformative space. Yoga has helped her immensely and she teaches in order to share these benefits with others. She has experience teaching many different kinds of people and takes care to create a welcoming and inclusive yoga space.

Hakkan Hakki
To complement his holistic approach to spiritual, physical, and mental wellbeing, his journey into Kundalini Yoga has proven a successful one. He was actively drawn to it and took a leap of faith to explore it further and become an instructor; helping others to discover the joy of Kundalini Yoga and Meditation. For Hakkan, it is the perfect addition to his body of knowledge which encompasses exercise, yoga, meditation, breathing, healing, spirituality, and community. Sharing his experiences and inspiring others brings him a sense of purpose and fulfillment.
She then began a journey of transformation through the daily practice of Kundalini exploring Meditation, Mantra, Asana and Breathwork. During the pandemic she embarked on Teacher Training at JOY.Holly-Anne's classes are aimed to be fun and energising whilst diving deep and raising our Kundalini energy to help us thrive. Expect some laughter, music and of course... Classic Kundalini Yoga!

Laura Burns
Laura encourages students to tune to an inner space where they can find compassion for themselves, and belief in shifting the blocks or challenges in their lives. She is learning a lot from teaching, and hopes to always be. Classes work with a combination of different asanas and meditations each time, so will always vary. They will be challenging, vigorous, deep, meditative and renewing.

Lauretta
As a former doctor who spent years training in and practicing conventional medicine, her love of Kundalini Yoga and meditation was somewhat unexpected. She's now passionate about helping others who believe there's more to life discover the joy and potential that lies within them.

Natalie Sarab Jeewan Dorchester
Natalie Sarab Jeewan Dorchester is a Kundalini Yoga teacher, workshop facilitator and birth doula, with over 15 years of experience supporting women through childbirth. She studied with renowned birth educator Dr. Michel Odent, and has worked with him ever since. A mother of two, giving birth was the most empowering and spiritual experience for her. It is her passion to empower other women through childbirth. Natalie also teaches Classic Kundalini and Addiction Recovery classes at JOY.

Nasser Abadian
Nasser has a lifelong interest in Persian literature and the teachings of Rumi. He was sent to India to study by his parents at the age 20. He has studied Engineering and Law and worked in business and property. Nasser came to the UK after traveling around India and the Far-East. He settled in this country, brought up his children here, and calls London his home.
Nasser completed Kundalini Yoga Teacher Training in Espanola, New Mexico in September 2011. He's especially interested in Yogi Bhajan’s teaching on the polarity of male and female and has studied Yogi Bhajan's Man to Man teachings extensively.

Prakashjot Kaur
Prakashjot Kaur is a Kundalini Yoga and Meditation Teacher with a strong foundation of ACIM since 2012. Prior to that she practiced Ashtanga since the age of 15. Her purpose is teaching Yoga and Meditation, Sound Healing with Tibetan Bowls and Gongs, as well as TwoPoint and Reiki.
Joy, Peace and Love is her function.

Ram-Inder Rai
Ram-Inder Rai began her working life in the corporate world, and accountancy. She came across yoga and meditation in 1997 which ignited her passion for self-growth and Self Realisation. She was driven by a sense of knowing that the incessant chatter of the monkey mind, with all the suffering it brings was optional, and that happiness, peace and freedom were much better choices!

Ratan Veer
Ratan Veer classes guide the student towards a calm and focused mind, a knowledge of the Self and a balanced and rejuvenated body. He believes that in order to live through our soul, consciousness and higher self, we need to make our busy mind a servant, lovingly accept all that we are and maintain a healthy body so it can carry us to our destiny.

Sat Shakti Kaur
Sat Shakti Kaur is the founder of JOY. A former ballet dancer, Sat Shakti has a background in business and the arts. Integrating Kundalini into her life, enabled her to keep up with multiple work and volunteer commitments. As Kundalini Yoga offers practical tools for practitioners to lead balanced, happy lives, Sat Shakti is eager to share this powerful technology with busy Londoners.
